Search engine optimization is a mechanism your website can’t do without – it’s quite true, whether or no. If you design a website for people you are aimed at making it noticed and attended and make it last as long as possible. Nowadays you can rely on different companies which are experts in search engine optimization techniques and may implement all necessary strategies for your website to reach the highest rankings. But at present SEO issues have become so clear that you probably can manage without outside assistance saving your money and gaining more valuable web development experience. That is why today we start a new portion of tips for you to learn the principles of do-it-yourself search engine optimization and make your website famous on your own.
In general we can divide search engine optimization campaign in three parts which imply keywords optimization, web page optimization and off-site factors, such as links. So let us start from the first part and identify the issue of keywords optimization technique.
Before you start your search engine optimization campaign you need to define your purposes and think over the audience you want to attract. It will help you to pick up the most relevant keywords and keyphrases with the help of which your potential customers will find your website then. It is considered that right keywords are such ones that describe your website goal and content in the most efficient way and thus allow your web pages to get the highest possible positions in search results. However, high rankings depend not only on the very keywords but on the way you use them within your website as well. There exist several tips which will help you to use the keywords for the most successful results.
1. Match keyword tag with your site content
You need to use your keywords in the meta tag in HEAD of your page like this:
<meta name=”keywords” content=”web, web page design, design, web site, keywords, search engine, optimize, meta tags”>
Usually you are permitted to use up to 30 words in the keyword meta tag so think how to use this space in the right way and don’t exceed the limit, otherwise your website may be declined.
2. Use keywords all over your site
Keep in mind that you are allowed to put your keywords not only within your site meta tags or written content but in image alt tags, headings, comments, link title tags, meta titles and meta descriptions as well. To decide where you can add keywords look through the code thoroughly.
3. Place keywords on top
Try to insert your keywords in the top of the page code. This is explained by the fact that search engine spiders may search only up to the 50% of your web page so they just may not reach the keywords that are situated in the bottom of your site.
4. Mind spelling
Choosing keywords for your website take into account that people may spell some of them in different ways, e.g. “website” or “web site” so try to include all possible variations in your keyword tags to cover the most of search possibilities. However, it doesn’t mean that you should use misspelled words if your website written content, just add them to the keywords list. Include plural forms of some keywords as many web users search for the “websites” instead of single “website”.
5. Count your keywords
After you have placed the keywords check your site content to find out the keyword density of your web pages, i.e. the frequency of their use within each piece of written content. Add more keywords if there is not enough of them, remove the repeating ones or replace them with synonyms – but don’t use too many keywords too close to each other in order not to be called a spammer and lose reputation.
Selecting proper keywords for your site check their popularity with special online tools, such as Google AdWords, Wordtracker, SEO Book etc, which will help you to pick up the most winning keywords and keyphrases people search for. By the way, these tools will help you to think over new ideas for writing on the basis of the most searched keyphrases so you will fill your website with fresh and interesting information that will moreover bring fruitful results. Write your website content with keywords in mind and you will see how easy and fast your web pages will gain popularity.

It is true that the placement of your keywords also play a vital role in your search engine rankings. It is important to have your main desired keyword(or phrase) near the top and somewhere near the bottom of the post or website content.
i think you have taken this new feature in a wrong way , it has its plus points too , for example from a marketer point of view you will get much better results from paid advertising as in google adwords you will be able to focus to individual who are really looking for your products hence each click through will deliver more results because then the user demographics can be leveraged.
